You are HER, the one trying to solve as much as possible, as well as possible, as quickly as possible. But when do you still have time to be YOU or HER?

I’m Raluca Barbu—coach, mentor, trainer, and co-founder of The Lighthouse Project alongside another fantastic HER—Iulia Lăţcan, marketing director of a renowned travel agency, entrepreneur, mother, jewelry creator, sommelier, and lover of the world and its people. I am HER, and to truly understand HER, I went through a similar journey of courage. One that took me through the valley of doubt, the grove of assumptions, the oasis of superficiality, the abyss of fear, the hill of learning, all the way to the mountain of Courage. It was a long journey, lived daily, almost moment by moment—but how the world looks from up there… let me tell you how the lighthouse of my journey looked.

Courage is an enigmatic, radiant entity that lies dormant within each of us. Like a seed planted deep in the soul, courage waits for the right moments to fully manifest, transforming our lives and perspectives. Courage is what pushes us beyond our perceived limits, encourages us to dream bigger and bolder, and not just dream—but act. It lifts us when we feel powerless. In this story, the main character is Courage itself, becoming our mentor and guide on the journey toward self-overcoming and self-discovery.

Chapter 1: The Encounter with Courage

It was a calm spring morning when SHE, an ambitious yet uncertain young woman, felt overwhelmed by her own doubts. She had been studying coaching for several years, driven by a desire to help people find their path in career and life. Yet, despite her academic preparation, something fundamental was missing—the courage to apply her knowledge and become a true leader of change. On that special day, SHE decided to go for a walk to clear her mind.

In the middle of the park near her office, SHE sat on a bench and, under the gentle sun, began to reflect on her life. As she sank deeper into thought, she felt an unusual presence—a sense of peace and strength slowly approaching. At one point, this presence took shape before her as an invisible mentor. It was Courage, ready to teach her the vital lessons of trust and determination.

Chapter 2: The Lessons of Courage

SHE began to talk with this invisible mentor, eager to understand how she could overcome her fears and become the strong, capable person she dreamed of being. Courage urged her to recall every moment in her life when she had felt the warmth of success—even the smallest triumphs. Then, it explained that, just like in coaching or mentoring, the power of the group and positive interactions can catalyze profound change. And the ability to recognize what you do well and use it on the path to success are the key pieces in this career game.

“Courage is not the absence of fear,” said Courage. “It is the recognition and mastery of it. You’ve learned to see the complex systems of human interaction. Think of courage as a system in itself—a living organism that feeds on action and trust. Every small step you take with confidence strengthens courage, just as every doubt can weaken the foundation it’s built on. There is a universe of possibilities within you. Learn to explore it.”

Chapter 3: The Transformation

Inspired by her mentor’s words, SHE began a deep process of self-evaluation. She remembered all the coaching techniques she had learned but hadn’t yet dared to fully apply. She decided to give herself a real chance to turn that knowledge into practice. Every day, she started working with people in her social circle, offering free coaching sessions. Soon, the positive feedback fueled her confidence, and each successful session strengthened her bond with Courage.

“You’ll see,” said Courage one evening, “that every courageous action will lead you to a better version of yourself. Courage grows through continuous practice, through stepping out of your comfort zone, and through daring to do what scares you. Don’t forget—the most important step is the first one. Start at the beginning!”

Chapter 4: Fear and Reward

As SHE progressed on her journey, new challenges arose. The fear of failure often appeared, but Courage was always there to whisper: keep going. Through mentoring techniques, SHE had learned to see every obstacle as an opportunity for growth. Each fear overcome became a cornerstone in her self-mastery. Courage shared its experiences, and the reflections helped her overcome obstacles, quickly transforming them into learning opportunities.

“Fear doesn’t have to be an enemy,” said Courage. “It can be an ally that teaches you to prepare better, to be more vigilant and determined. The arrival of fear is a signal that you’ve found something important—a place where you can grow. That’s the most valuable lesson you can learn.”

Chapter 5: Fulfillment

After months of intense practice, SHE became more confident and began to be recognized for her coaching and mentoring skills. Courage, pleased with her progress, slowly began to step back, giving her the space to grow on her own. She was no longer just a learner—she had become a powerful mentor herself, capable of inspiring and leading others.

“You are ready now,” said the invisible mentor, who had never truly left her side. “You’ve learned the essential lessons of courage and applied them successfully. Continue building your own system of trust and guide other souls toward discovering their courage. Your fight isn’t over, but you’ve already passed through the hardest phases. You are strong and capable.”

SHE thanked her mentor for all the support and guidance. She realized that having courage wasn’t just an intangible quality—it was something that could be actively cultivated, like an art. From that day on, SHE continued to embrace every challenge with the confidence and determination she had gained.

Through HER story, we learn that the invisible partner—courage—is incredibly powerful and walks with us every step of our journey. Anyone can discover and cultivate their courage with the help of systemic coaching and mentoring techniques. It’s essential to always remember one thing: courage is not a destination, but a continuous process of self-discovery and evolution. We will always be challenged to surpass our limits, and Courage will be there in those moments of deep transformation.

Remember, when Courage whispers for you to take the first step, don’t hesitate to listen. In this lesson of courage, each of us can make a difference in our own life and in the lives of those around us. Courage is both a path and a destination. Enjoy the journey and embrace the transformations it brings.

Remember: YOU are HER!

TU ești EA Tu ești EA, ești sora ta, ești mama ta, ești colega ta, ești EA de ieri, ești specialistă în coaching sau în psihologie, tu ești mama mereu pe fugă sau EA în ascensiune profesională.
